Who is Best Stock Trading Systems.com?Greetings! My name is Jeff Fairchild. I am the webmaster of the site and of course the initial trading system reviewer. Back a few years ago, I had a huge mountain to climb. I could not recommend systems that I had not tested, yet I wanted to make sure to give each one an adequate period of time for accurate results. So the site started out mostly with recommendations of basic systems in ebook format and the testing of one software or service at a time as well. I quickly discovered that if I was going to quickly sift through a large number of systems quickly, I would need help. I already had one friend, Mike, who traded stocks full-time. Then I also hired Brian to review systems as well. He trades part-time like myself and has a full time corporate job. I guess you could call us the three amigos of trading. But of course, don't... or Brian may correct you saying that we are instead much more like... "The triple threat" or "The deadly trading trio" and of course there's Mike, who would just roll his eyes in dismay.
How did we choose systems to test?There are 2 main criteria to be met in a system or software for us to test it at all: The Alexa traffic ranking, and page rank. The Alexa traffic ranking is what it seems. There are over 80 million websites on the internet. Any program that we tested had to have a good amount of traffic to their site, as determined by Alexa.com. This meant in the top 500,000 sites. As a side note, if the site was ranked very well, like Marketclub (which is now at 30,415) it could also have an effect on how credible we believe them to be, which is reflected in their review on our site. Page rank is another factor in the credibility of a website, and is determined by Google. If a site is just starting up or not popular yet, their page rank will be somewhat low. If a company has an affiliate program and selling a product that they made, it should be higher. After the systems passed these two criteria then they were judged based upon the type of product. Software for example is based on ease of use, comprehensiveness, functionality, number of features, etc. If it is an ebook then it would to a large extent be based upon the quality of the information contained. Each product with a star rating has been reviewed by all three of us and we come to a consensus on what the system should be rated relative to other similar products on the market.
